Currently the library
has 30 computers outfitted for research and school projects. Online
encyclopedias, magazine resources, and subject specific programs
are available. Students also have access to word processing, spreadsheet,
data publishing and slide-show presentation software. Internet use
requires parental permission (see below).
In
order to use the internet, students MUST have the St. Tammany Parish
School Board Technology Agreement signed and on file at the school.
Access to the Internet is available
for projects/research.
You must be wearing your ID (no temporary IDs)
Students must 'checkout' computers at the circulation desk.
Only one student per computer. No standing or sitting around computers to look
over users' shoulders. *

No sexually explicit, obscene or otherwise
inappropriate web sites.
No game sites.
No accessing e-mail accounts (but you may send e-mail to your account from
school-owned programs).
No chat rooms. *Students violating any of these
policies will lose their computer privileges.
Serious or repeated violations will result in disciplinary action and the loss
of computer privileges for the entire school year.
